Securathon is a cybersecurity-oriented hackathon conducted by DevC and Hackelite, where participants will identify and solve real-world cybersecurity problems by designing and implementing practical software solutions. Participants can choose to build a project in one of three tracks, each with a score multiplier: Regular projects - build a project based on a domain/problem statement provided, like any other Hackathon (Multiplier = 1x) Cybersecurity-oriented projects - build a project utilizing cybersecurity concepts like cryptography or blockchain (Multiplier = 1.2x) Reverse-engineered exploit - reverse-engineer existing closed-source software to find and demonstrate novel, unpublished vulnerabilities or exploits (Multiplier = 1.5x) Each project will be scored internally by the judging panel from 0-100, and your final score will be the project score x track multiplier. You will be ranked based on the final score and winners will be decided based on these ranks. For example, if your project gets a score of 50, and it is of the Cybersec track, your final score will be 50 * 1.2 = 60. Use of AI to build these projects is allowed, but you are expected to be able to explain your solution and architecture. Why this event? In an increasingly interconnected digital world, sophisticated data breaches and emerging cyber threats have made security an essential par…
