Overview Stronger Collaboration Between Technical Institutions and Industry There is an urgent need for stronger collaboration between technical institutions and industry. This partnership will significantly influence the engineering curriculum, enhance students' exposure to industrial environments, and improve job placement opportunities. Engineering graduates are emerging from colleges across the country. With globalization and the liberalization of the Indian economy, competition within industries has intensified. As a result, industries are increasingly seeking support from engineering institutions to address their technical challenges. There is also a pressing need to familiarize engineering students with emerging technologies and advanced engineering practices to prepare them for careers in multinational corporations.
