Build Your Bharat Hackathon (BYB)
Build Your Bharat , is a pan-India initiative by Next Bharat Ventures – Suzuki Innovation Centre , commencing with partner institutes in Hyderabad. The initiative aims to encourage students to identify real-world challenges faced by communities across India and develop innovative, scalable solutions through impact entrepreneurship . Build Your Bharat Hackathon The initiative will culminate in an 8-hour hackathon on 21 November at the Suzuki Innovation Centre (SIC), IIT Hyderabad , bringing together students passionate about entrepreneurship and solving meaningful societal challenges. Focus Areas: Agriculture: Increasing farmers' income. Migrant Livelihoods: Improving the livelihoods of gig workers. Rural Healthcare: Addressing healthcare challenges in small towns and rural areas. Who Can Apply? Students interested in building their own startups. Committed founders, including students and recent graduates, who are developing a startup. What Can Winning Teams Gain? ₹5 lakh in prize money and seed grants to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey. An opportunity to receive up to ₹1 crore in equity investment .
